Just in time for the holidays and the band’s 20th anniversary, Wilco has announced a November 17 release date for two new compilations.
The first is a 4-CD (or 4-vinyl, depending on your preference) called Alpha Mike Foxtrot, which features rare studio and live recordings pulled together from the band’s massive catalog of music. The set also includes a 64-page book featuring archival photos, track-by-track liner notes and personal memories from the band and those who worked with them over the years.
The other compilation is What’s Your 20, which serves as a greatest hits/retrospective of the band’s impressive 20 year career. What’s Your 20 also features two tracks from Mermaid Avenue, the band’s Woody Guthrie tribute with Billy Bragg.
