6 Fan-Favorite Songs Oasis Should Open Their Reunion Tour With

It’s official: Oasis is back, baby. Some would say that a reunion tour’s setlist should never star with their greatest hits; however, we’d be bold enough to say that these six hits would be killer songs for Oasis to open with in 2025. Quite a few Oasis fans said their piece about their chosen picks as well, which influenced this list. Let’s take a look!

1. “Don’t Look Back In Anger”

The iconic 1995 Oasis track “Wonderwall” is arguably the most singable song in the band’s discography. However, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” comes pretty close. It’s one of their most identifiable anthems and a melancholy song that manages to be an addictive sing-along despite its somber subject matter.

2. “She’s Electric”

Some might say “She’s Electric” is a deep cut from (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? Megafans would call it a fan-favorite that is essential listening for any fan worth their salt. It’s the perfect blend of underrated and identifiable to most Oasis fans. We think that’s the right recipe for a stellar tour opener.

3. “Don’t Go Away”

Oasis’ lyrics rarely shied away from being reflective and introspective. This track from the 1997 release Be Here Now is one of the band’s most vulnerable. At the very least, it’s Liam’s most vulnerable. 

“Don’t Go Away” is a painful tune about wanting more time without a beloved parent before they pass on. It’s a bit of a downer, but we think Oasis could easily create a great setlist that starts off somber and ends with a banger of hits.

4. “Rock ‘N’ Roll Star”

This is another great hit that would make a killer opening track for Oasis’ upcoming reunion tour. It’s the very first song of their very first album, after all. It’s a manifestation of sorts that predicted a long and tumultuous rock star career that is nevertheless legendary in Britpop and rock.

5. “Acquiesce”

Quite a few fans want Oasis to play this killer B-side from 1995, and it makes sense why. “Acquiesce” is delightfully egregious with Noel’s guitar riffs and stellar vocals. Some believe that the song was written about the bond between Noel and Liam, though the former put that rumor to bed by saying it was “total f***ing bullshit”.

6. “Champagne Supernova”

Many fans hail “Champagne Supernova” as the best song on (arguably) Oasis’ best album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? It could easily be the band’s best song to date, even if it hasn’t made it into the music history archives quite like “Wonderwall”. It would be a treat to hear this for the first time in years as one of the songs Oasis opts to open their tour with.
