“Absolutely Unreal”: Zach Bryan Crashes Irish Pub After Sold-Out Dublin Show

Last year, Zach Bryan explored The Great American Bar Scene with his highly acclaimed fifth studio album. Now, he is apparently on a quest to see how the rest of the world drinks. Ahead of his proclaimed retirement from touring, the Grammy-winning country artist recently played three jam-packed shows at Dublin’s Phoenix Park in Ireland. Following one gig, the crowd at a busy Irish pub got quite the surprise when Bryan, 29, showed up for some more music.

On Tuesday (June 24), TikTok user Dorothy McCarthy shared footage of the ACM Award winner surrounded by rowdy pub-goers at Dublin’s The Celt on Talbot Street. Bryan is leading the crowd in a sing-along of his 2024 song “Nine Ball:” My father is a betting man / But I got myself a steady hand / He’s sitting in the corner with a six-pack of Corona / Betting that his son’ll win again.

“POV: Zach Bryan just played 60,000 people and comes into your pub,” McCarthy wrote in the video’s text overlay, adding the caption, “absolutely unreal.”

In the comments, one user tagged a friend to lament, “Why is it never us?”

Zach Bryan Left Hefty Tip at His Favorite Irish Pub

During his time in the Emerald Isle, The Celt became Zach Bryan’s home away from home. He even shared a picture of his epic arm-wrestling battle with owner Noel Tynan, declaring his establishment the “best damn bar in Ireland.”

“When he came off the plane the first day, he came literally straight to The Celt and he had his wind-up party here,” Tynan told the Irish Independent.

Indeed, the “Pink Skies” crooner left a generous parting gift after learning that one staffer was pulling late shifts to help pay for college.

“So, he said to me, ‘How much will I leave?’ And I said, ‘Leave a million,’” Tynan said. “I was joking – I didn’t think anything would be left! He said, ‘How about four grand?’ And I said how about 10?’ I was just joking; I wasn’t expecting him to leave anything.”

Eventually, Bryan agreed to meet Tynan in the middle, leaving a 6,000-pound tip upon his departure.

“He was there two years ago as well and his father has been back a number of times in Dublin,” Tynan said. “So I’m starting to get to know them pretty well.”
