Steven Tyler is getting the band back together. Members of Aerosmith will reunite to perform at its frontman’s upcoming charity event and viewing party, Billboard reported.
The exciting reunion news comes after Aerosmith’s short-lived Peace Out: The Farewell Tour. The tour was rescheduled shortly after it started due to Tyler’s vocal cord injury. It was ultimately cancelled altogether.

The outlet didn’t specify which members of Aerosmith will take the stage at Jam for Janie, a GRAMMY Awards viewing party that serves as a fundraiser for Tyler’s Janie’s Fund charity.
However, it did list guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton as performers. Drummer Joey Kramer and guitarist Brad Whitford are not specifically mentioned.
What To Expect at Jam for Janie
In addition to Aerosmith, stars included Billy Idol, Joan Jett, and Linda Perry are set to take the stage. Tiffany Haddish will host event, per the outlet.
While Tyler founded Janie’s Fund to assist girls who have suffered abuse and neglect, this year he’s expanding its reach. In the wake of the devastating California wildfires, the star-studded event will also supportย the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the Widows, Orphans, and Disabled Firefighterโs Fund, the outlet reported.
“What the Los Angeles community has endured with these wildfires is unthinkable. Music has healing powers and we hope to bring a moment of joy and levity to our first-responder firefighters and those most affected by the fires,” Tyler told the outlet. “The trauma experienced by the girls we work with is also unthinkable and we will continue to shed light and support the amazing work ofย Janie’s Fund.”
The event, which is set to be held at the Hollywood Palladium, will include a red carpet, as well as dinner and drinks. After the GRAMMYs telecast, there will be a live auction and unforgettable performances. Afterwards, there will be an after party complete with a DJ set.
