We’re excited to learn that Aimee Mann will launch a new tour this April, supporting her 2008 release @#%&*! Smilers. Eight dates have been announced so far, with more slated to come.
Mann recently made a cameo on Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s Portland-busting IFC show, Portlandia, portraying herself as a cleaning lady. And thanks to CMJ, we just learned of this laugh-out-loud Twitter exchange between Mann and rapper/actor Ice-T from last year, which is required reading for Mann fans and Ice-T detractors.
