With Zach Top exploring a career in country music, the singer crossed a major milestone back in 2024 when he released his debut country album, Cold Beer & Country Music. Seeming to combine two of his favorite things, Top took inspiration from other stars like Randy Travis and George Strait. Zach Top Talks Hit Song “Sounds Like The Radio”
Not addressing the theory about his supposed father, Top did open up about his hit song โSounds Like the Radio.โ With his own songs played on the radio, the singer wanted a hit that people could dance to. โYou donโt hear many dancing songs anymore. I think thatโs a perfect song to get out there with your girl and two-step.โ
Having a plan for the song even before recording it, Top admitted, โI love that song. We always thought that would be, ever since we wrote it, it was like, โMan, that should be the first radio single.โ Itโs got radio in the title. A little soft pandering never hurts.โ With Top solidifying himself as a rising star in country, he concluded, โSo yeah, really excited to have that thing out and excited for the reception itโs got so far in radio land and with the fans.โ
