Nancy Dunham is a music journalist whose work appears in The New York Times, Country Weekly, Relix, USA Today, Uncut, The Washington Post, Relix, YRB and other publications. She spent most of her career in Washington, D.C., before she and her cat Prudence (named after “Dear Prudence” by The Beatles) moved to Tucson, Arizona, a few years ago. She is a lifelong country music fan but especially enjoys alternative rock, English folk and indie rock.
