Caroline Spence Releases Captivating Song “Slow Dancer”

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Caroline Spenceย just shared aย new song, the captivatingย “Slow Dancer.”

“This song is about the beauty of giving in to love after hesitating for so long,” Spence tellsย Rolling Stone Country.ย 

After garnering success from her debut LPย Somehow, Spence made a name for herself afterย being noted byย Rolling Stoneย as a new country artist that should be watched.

Her pensive lyrics have already gained her awards, including theย coveted Kerrville Folk Festival songwriting contest andย American Songwriter magazine’s 2013 lyric contest.

In addition to multiple accolades, Spence has gained the attention of country music talentย Miranda Lambert after Lambert publicly praised Spence’s track “Last Call,” adding it to her “On the Road” playlist. This spring, Spence will tour with John Moreland in support of her latestย musical endeavor,ย Spades & Rose,ย slated to release on March 3.

With the help of producer Neilson Hubbard, Spence recordedย the 11-song LP in East Nashville. It includes a cover of “To Go Down” by Pete Lindberg.
