Chappell Roan is feeling all the feels ahead of the 67th GRAMMY Awards. Days before the ceremony, Roan took to Instagram to share a series of car selfies. She also penned a lengthy note about how she’s feeling ahead of the show.
“Hey girls I just woke up. Good morning booboos. It’s Grammy week. I am very emo,” she wrote. “My heart feels warm and fuzzy with all the support I have been given this past year. I hope you can understand that this has been incredible and scary and spiritual and confusing. I’ve been crying tears of joy and grief and feeling loved and lonely and free.”

“Ultimately, I am grateful for every one of you who gave my music a little spin and showed your ass up to shows and festivals,” Roan continued. “Because yall are rockstars I feel like a rockstars 🙂 Damn I am cheesy lowkey.”
As for the GRAMMYs themselves, Roan wrote, “I love the performance we’re preparing for you all. And girl no matter what, just know when I’m up on stage, all I’m really feeling in my heart is love to the queer community especially those in places where it is unsafe to be yourself. I see you <3 tootles xox”
Chappell Roan Set for a Big Night at Debut GRAMMY Awards
It’s no surprise that Roan is emotional ahead of the big show. The 2025 GRAMMYs will mark her first time at the ceremony, her first nominations, and her first performance for the esteemed crowd.
Roan is tied for the third-most nominations of the night. She, Sabrina Carpenter, and Taylor Swift all earned six nods.
Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” is nominated in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance categories. Her album, Chappell Roan The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, is competing for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. She’s also a Best New Artist nominee.
Roan’s nominations make her one of five artists to earn nods in the big three categories, and one of two to get that distinction along with a Best New Artist nomination. If she happens to come out victorious in all four general categories she’d be the first to do so since Billie Eilish in 2020.
