CMA Award nominations were announced this morning, and Chris Stapleton – alongside Maren Morris and Eric Church, who each tied Stapleton – is leading the pack with five nominations. Stapleton earned nods in the categories of Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year (“Nobody to Blame”), Male Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year (“Fire Away”) and Musical Event of the Year (“You Are My Sunshine” with wife Morgane Stapleton).
Other top nominees include Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, who each earned four nominations.
The 50th annual CMA Awards will take place on November 2 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
