Fresh off an appearance at the 58th annual Grammy Awards, Courtney Barnett performed an electrifying take of “Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go To The Party” last night on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
“Nobody Really Cares” appears on Barnett’s 2015 acclaimed debut Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit. The LP helped the Australian musician land a Grammy nomination for “Best New Artist,” although she lost to pop artist Meghan Trainor.
While there’s no news yet of a follow-up album, Barnett’s record label, Milk!, recently released a new compilation, Good for You, which features her track “Three Packs A Day.”
Barnett and her band will return to North America this spring with several festival stints, including Coachella, Governors Ball and Hangout Music Fest. Check out her tour dates here, and watch the the Colbert performance video below.
