TODAY is the last day to get your entry in for “The Big Hook” contest by Fiverr! All you have to do is click the image above and submit a 30 second video clip of you performing your best original hook – all genres are welcome.
The contest will be judged by an impressive list of musicians, mostly of YouTube fame, including Anthony Vincent, of โ10 Second Songsโ fame; Hannah Trigwell; Louisa Wendorff; Andrew Huang, one of our favorite up-and-comers; and Christian Lopez.
The contest has some great prizes, including a trip to Nashville to co-write with some amazing writers, mentoring sessions, and studio time. The details of the prizes are as follows:
- Grand Prize: All-expenses-paid trip to a prestigious Nashville songwriting bootcamp, courtesy of Songspace music network. Bootcamp includes music mentoring sessions; co-writing sessions; studio recording time; consideration for representation from Riptide Music Group for television and film placement; and free membership in a performing rights organization of his or her choice.
- Second Place:$2,000 + $300 Fiverr credit
- Third Place: $1,000 + $200 Fiverr credit
