Snoop Dogg has been busy since leaving The Voice. First, he performed at the first-ever Crypto Ball leading up to President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Then, he took the stage with Jelly Roll during SNL’s 50th anniversary concert. Now, he has released a new tune called โSpaceship Party.” But if you’re looking for it on Spotify, you’re out of luck.
Snoop Dogg Is Ditching Spotify
Snoop Dogg is partnering with Tune.FM as the face of the Web3 music streaming platform, Billboard reports. His newly released single, “Spaceship Party,” will stream exclusively on Tune.FM.

In fact, Snoop Dogg plans to move more of his catalog to Tune.FM, bluntly stating, “I donโt f— with Spotify anymore. Iโm only onย Tune.FM.โ
The “Gin and Juice” rapper claimed in a December 2023 interview on the podcastย Business Untitled,ย that he only receives $45,000 from one billion streams on Spotify. A spokesperson for the streaming giant disputed this claim in a statement to TMZ, saying, “We canโt speak to endorsement deals for Web3 companies but โฆ $45K for a billion streams? Itโs well documented that a billion streams on Spotify generates millions of dollars to rights holders. Itโs unfortunate to hear that Spotifyโs payments didnโt make it through to Snoop.”
The spokesperson continued, โSnoopโs a legend and, hopefully now that heย ownsย Death Row Records, heโs seeing more of that money.โ

What is Tune.FM?
According toย Billboard,ย Tune.FMย is a decentralized Web3 streaming platform focusing on transparency, security, and fairness for artists through blockchain technology. It claims to provide instant micropayments per second streamed.
The platform automatically creates a JAM wallet for users once they sign up. They can then spend JAM tokens on streaming, tipping artists, and unlocking exclusive content.
Additionally, Tune.FMย is in talks with major labels like Universal and Sony, along with major distributors and high-profile artists, to bring more exclusive content to the platform.
“Tune.FMย operates under non-exclusive licensing agreements, enabling us to unlock new revenue streams for under-monetized catalogs and artist IP on both our streaming platform and marketplace,” a spokesperson told Billboard.
Snoop Dogg’s partnership with the platform sprang from a meeting with founder/CEOย Andrew Antarย at the Crypto Ball ahead of President Trumpโs inauguration in January. Antar also plays violin on “Spaceship Party.”
โWe are thrilled to welcome Snoop Dogg as the face ofย Tune.FM,โ Antar told Billboard.ย โSnoop is the OG pioneer who is always on the cutting edge of technology and new ways of doing business. He totally gets it, and we are ready to take on the world together.โ
