Field Report has been catching a lot of buzz for their single “Home (Leave the Lights On)” lately, and they’re sure to get a little more with the song’s newly released video. The track, off the band’s upcoming second album Marigolden (10/7), sees Chris Porterfield and company exploring homesickness and nostalgia against their signature juxtaposition of rootsy folk and blippy electronica. The video, though, is pure homage to the Ford F100, which takes Porterfield on an open-ended journey that, one has to hope, ends with the singer finally arriving home.
