Great Quotations: Peter Wolf

“Will brings a sensibility. He comes from the Johnny Mercer world of songwriting, someone who has the ability to write a specific song for a specific mood or character, not unlike the great standards that were done in Broadway plays. Will has that broad palette. Meeting with Will is like meeting with a mentor. He brings out the best and he contributes so much. Being the master he is, it’s always better when his hands are on it.”

– Peter Wolf on Midnight Souvenirs co-writer Will Jennings, who also wrote the lyrics to Eric Clapton’s “Tears In Heaven” and Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.”
