Guns N’ Roses have announced their new single, “The General.” The tease comes hot off the release of “Perhaps,” another song that will be featured on a forthcoming limited-edition 7โ vinyl. The vinyl is currently available for pre-order and will ship on October 26.
Guns N’ Roses performed “Perhaps” live for the first time at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, during a concert on August 18. โForgive me if I donโt run around and try to project as much because Iโm gonna try to figure out how to fucking sing it live,โย Axl Roseย told the audience before the band played the song. โI like to think of when we wrote this song it was like the immaculate inception.โ
Guns N’ Roses officially dropped “Perhaps” on August 17. The song’s release was accompanied by a music video featuring images of the band performing live. The lyrics for “Perhaps” partly read, Perhaps I was wrong/ When I didnโt see you, hey, hey/ Perhaps I was wrong, hey/ When I donโt believe you/ But how would I know how it feels/ Or what it takes to be you/ Iโve been so upset Harboring this hate for days.
