Hear Taylor Swift’s New Single “Mine”

Taylor Swift’s new single, “Mine,” which she wrote entirely by herself, has been released to radio and iTunes.

The song is a candy-coated piece of pop perfection, and catchy as a cold.

I was the flight risk with the fear of fallin’, wondered why we bothered with love if it never lasts” sings Taylor, but later changes her tune: “You are the best thing that’s ever been mine.”

According to yesterday’s press release:

“An unauthorized low-quality mp3 file of the single appeared online
earlier today.  As the low-quality file started to spread virally the
decision was made to rush release “Mine” to iTunes and Country radio
to ensure that Taylor’s fans were able to hear the single as she
intended.

Within the first couple of hours of it’s release to Country radio,
“Mine,” had already jumped into the Top 35 on Billboard’s Top Country
Songs chart.”
