The voice behind hit songs like “Made You Look”, “All About That Bass”, and “Like I’m Gonna Lose You”, Meghan Trainor continues to expand her career in the music industry. Already winning awards and selling over 11 million albums worldwide, the singer even appeared in the animated film Smurfs: The Lost Village. While a star in the music industry and Hollywood, Trainor recently shared how she sought out botox surgery a few times. And wanting to warn others, the singer revealed she can no longer smile because of it.
Helming her own podcast, Workin’ On It, Trainor decided to get personal for a moment as she said, “To all my fellow girlies out there who are in your 30s out there, hi. I got too much Botox, and I need help. I messed up.” The singer shared how she wanted to get botox in her forehead. Not worried about any other features, Trainor added, “Someone convinced me with my little lips that – if you did a lip flip [and] you put filler right above your upper lip – you could have a beautiful flip on your upper lip and I could have one for the first time in my whole 30 years of living. It was not true.”

Meghan Trainor Learned The Importance Of Her Smile
While taking the advice, Trainor said it didn’t go as planned. And the result – “I cannot smile anymore. Everywhere I go, I cannot smile. My face hurts to smile.” Although having to live with the decision to get botox, Trainor found some peace as she learned, “You know what this [taught] me? It taught me that my smile does light up a room. And when it’s not there, it’s a dim light.”
Fans quickly jumped to the comment section, hoping to share their thoughts on botox. “Nooooo!!!!! I literally always thought how amazing you are for not following the lip filler trend. You’re gorgeous the way you are!” Another fan offered some good news, suggesting, “Lol A lip flip goes away in about a month or so. I got it done for fun about 6 weeks ago and it’s already pretty much gone. Since we move our mouths so much, it dissolves faster with all the movement. You’ll be fine queen.”
