Forming the band during the 1970s, Steve Harris watched as Iron Maiden took over heavy metal with iconic albums like The Number of the Beast, which sold over 20 million copies worldwide. But that was just the start of the success that followed Iron Maiden over the years. Releasing over 40 studio albums, the group gained high praise from the music industry as they eventually landed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And as of 2019, the legendary band performed more than 2,500 shows. Given they are coming up on the 50th anniversary of Iron Maiden, the band decided to celebrate with the Run For Your Lives World Tour.
Kicking off the tour in 2025, concerts will run through 2026. For now, there are 27 concerts scheduled to take place around Europe. Discussing the upcoming tour, Bruce Dickinson said, โNext year is a very special one for Iron Maiden and weโre going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This is a tour thatโs gonna put a smile on your face and a cheer in your throat. If youโve seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If youโve never seen us before, then what the hell have you been waiting for? Nowโs your chance to find out what youโve been missing! Iron Maidenโs definitely gonna get ya!โ

Steve Harris Believes There Is No Better Way To Celebrate Iron Maiden
While fans wait until 2025, the first concert welcomes fans on May 27. And along the way, it seems that Harris is excited to share his love for football. โMy love of football and my support of West Ham is no secret, and I know many of our fans around the world have shared that with me too. So weโre all very excited to be playing at the London Stadium as part of the ‘Run For Your Lives’ tour. And of course, itโs not just London โ the whole UK tour is going to be a real celebration for all of us.โ
As for the entire tour, Harris insisted, “To be able to bring this very special show to all our fans across the UK and Ireland next year is going to be a great way to mark 50 years of Iron Maiden. We canโt wait to see you all there!โ Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, September 27th.
