Jack Harlow launched his rap career at the tender age of 12, putting together CDs to sell at his Louisville, Kentucky middle school. The 17-year-old then put out his first EP, The Handsome Harlow, in November 2015. Now 26, Harlow has since scored three No. 1 singles and even had a starring role in 2023’s White Men Can’t Jump. Having established a successful hip-hop career, fans are now speculating that the “What’s Poppin’” hitmaker is looking to pull a Jelly Roll/Post Malone and switch up genres. And this incredible Elvis Presley cover is only fueling those rumors.
Fans Accuse Jack Harlow of “Hiding This Talent From Us”
On Saturday (Nov. 30), Jack Harlow wrapped up back-to-back hometown performances with Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra. Held at The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts at Whitney Hall, the show marked Harlow’s fourth No Place Like Home Tour.

Donning a black suit and tie, the “First Class” rapper had the backing of the entire orchestra as he treated the crowd to a spot-on cover of Elvis Presley’s 1961 hit “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

Fan-captured footage of the performance whipped TikTok users into quite the frenzy. “Bro can sing too,” remarked one astonished fan.
“Jack why were you hiding this talent from us,” another fan added.
Harlow’s cover drew comparisons to another velvet-voiced crooner. “Okay I see you, jack bublé,” wrote one TikTok user.

“Oh So He’s Getting Ready to Switch Up Genres”
Two of music’s biggest stars, Post Malone and Jelly Roll, recently announced they are hitting the road together next year. Both artists got their start in hip-hop before successfully pivoting to country music. After that Elvis cover, many social media users are speculating that Jack Harlow is also gearing up to jump ship from rap music.
“Oh so he’s getting ready to switch up genres huh?!” one fan wrote on X/Twitter.
“Og fans know he can sing,” another added.
