Completely changing his life around, Jelly Roll watched as he went from being behind bars to performing in front of thousands of fans. Always shocked by the stardom that followed him, the country star continues to release new music and share his love for his wife Bunnie Xo. But never wanting to stay content with his career, the singer recently found himself turning into an actor as the show Fire Country shared a teaser for a new episode that featured not just Jelly Roll but his new song.ย
Following a young convict named Bode Donovan, the show centered around him looking to change his life. Finding himself back in his hometown, Donovan needed to come to terms with his past as he fought some of the deadliest fires alongside former friends and even fellow inmates.ย

With the story striking a chord with Jelly Roll, he jumped at the chance to be on the show. And in a new snippet on episode 13 of season 3 titled โFire and Iceโ, the country singer talked to the character Vince Leone about the need for second chances. Portraying a character named Noah, Jelly Roll insisted, โMemories are complicated, but your boy got a second chance.”

Jelly Roll Found Common Ground With ‘Fire Country’ Character
While the teaser included several shots from the new episode, Jelly Rollโs new song, โDreams Donโt Dieโ, played over the footage. Expected to release on April 11th when the episode was scheduled to air, lyrics included, “How many dreams have I seen burn up like ashes.โ
As for Jelly Rollโs character Noah, apparently, he will also be an ex-convict hoping to give back when becoming a healthcare worker. Again, with the characterโs background so close to that of Jelly Roll, the singer is sure to bring a great deal of emotion to the role as he draws from his own troubles.ย And much like Noah, the singer also looked to the future and making the most out of his life.
For those hoping to see Jelly Roll on Fire Country, the new episode will air on Friday, April 11th, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Fire Country can also be streamed on Paramount+.
