Besides fashioning his own career in country music, Jelly Roll loved nothing more than collaborating with other artists. Over the last few years, he worked with Shaboozey on โAmenโ, Craig Morgan on “Almost Homeโ, and even Eminem on “Somebody Save Me.โ But recently, he found himself in the studio with Christian singer Brandon Lake for their newest hit song โHard Fought Hallelujahโ. Released on Lakeโs newest album King of Hearts, Jelly Roll decided to celebrate the special moment with some new ink.ย
Outside of his love for his wife Bunnie Xo and country music, Jelly Roll loved tattoos. And itโs easy to see that love as the singer sported tattoos all over his body. Recently, he added yet another tattoo when he stopped by the release party for King of Hearts. Apparently, Lake thought it was a great idea to invite a tattoo artist to the party. Seeing the chance to get a new tattoo, Jelly Roll shocked Lake when he revealed a heart tattoo with the letter K above it.ย

Literally shocked to see Jelly Roll getting a tattoo to celebrate the moment, the country singer insisted, โI got the first one.โ He added, โI thought I would start the party right. If a Christian artist was brave enough to bring a tattoo artist to his album release, I should be the first participant.โ

Barely able to contain his excitement, Lake already knew he needed to get the same tattoo. And it wasnโt long before the singer found himself in the same chair, declaring, โBro tats with Jelly.โ
Jelly Roll And Brandon Lake Take CMA Fest To Church
With both singers all smiles, Jelly Roll captioned the video, writing, โMy brother for life. Happy birthday bubba, thank you so much for letting me be a part of our record and a part of your journey. Itโs been an invaluable blessing.โย ย
Besides their love for tattoos, Jelly Roll and Lake also took the stage not that long ago at Nissan Stadium. Declaring the singer was taking the fans to โChurchโ, the special performance included a drone display of a cross that towered over the crowd. With fans cheering for both singers, it quickly became a highlight performance during the CMA Fest.ย
As for โHard Fought Hallelujahโ, the song landed No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. But when it came to the Hot Christian Songs chart, it dominated the list, holding No. 1 for 20 weeks. Yet another hit song for Jelly Roll, the country star continued to showcase his talents and faith.
