The last few years have been a whirlwind for Lainey Wilson. Thanks to songs like “Heart Like A Truck” and “Watermelon Moonshine”, Wilson became a top name in country music. And with that fame came a great deal of accolades including a Grammy Award. She even landed a role in the hit series Yellowstone. Although welcoming a great deal of success within her career, the singer recently shined a light on her personal life when she announced her engagement to former NFL quarterback Devlin Hodges. Excited about the news, it seems that Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, might have inspired the engagement.
Back in December, country music looked to celebrate the end of 2024 with the New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. Before performers took the stage, Bunnie Xo decided to speak with Wilson about the new year and what she hoped for. While sharing a laugh over some of the questions, Bunnie Xo revealed, “I’m manifesting for you and Duck to get married. I’m putting it in the air. Duck! You better come with it, baby.”

Laughing off the moment, Wilson addressed her boyfriend at the time, saying, “No pressure, brother.” She even added, “I might have to propose to him. We waiting.”
Although not knowing what the future held for her, Bunnie Xo had a feeling as she insisted, “No, Duck’s gonna do it, I could feel it.”

Lainey Wilson Excited To Be Engaged
Just yesterday, Bunnie Xo’s premonition became a reality when Wilson shared the news she was engaged. Jumping on Instagram, the singer shared pictures of the moment and even a video of her showing off her ring in excitement. Ready to start the next chapter in their lives, Wilson captioned the post, writing, “4X4XU forever.”
Fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet moment as the post gained over 600,000 likes. Comments included, “He gave a rock to a rolling stone, and the rolling stone let her heart free! Congrats to both! “ Another person declared, “Congratulations!! You light up on stage when you talked about him!! So happy for you both!!”
