Throughout his childhood, Choi Whee-sung, who went by Wheesung, shared a love for dancing and music. As the singer got older, that love turned into a career with him becoming a record producer, actor, and part of the growing K-pop scene. During the height of his stardom, Wheesung released albums like For the Moment, Itโs Real, and Vocolate. He also appeared in the musical All Shook Up, portraying Elvis Presley. While continuing to expand his career in the music industry, sadly, Wheesung recently passed away at 43 years old.ย
With authorities finding the body of Wheensung at his home in Seoul, South Korea on Monday, city officials are staying silent as to what led to his death. Police did reveal that the body was left for a great deal of time before being discovered. Authorities believed there was no sign of foul play.
