In promotion of his new solo album Crosseyed Heart, Keith Richards recently sat down with Noisey for the latest episode of their Guitar Moves video series.
The 71-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist sits down with guitarist Matt Sweeney for a wide-ranging interview at Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studios in New York City, with topics including the first time he picked up a guitar, touring with Ike and Tina Turner and songwriters he enjoys working with.
“There’s a guy called Mick Jagger that I love to write with,ย but it’s hard to get my hands on him,” Richards says with a laugh.ย “I wait for him to come to me, that’s why sometimes it takes a while … but so far so good. We’re working on it.”
