A special exhibit titled “Kenny Rogers: Through the Years” opened today at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. To celebrate the opening, Rogers himself will appear in conversation at the museum tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in the CMA Theater.

The exhibit will cover Rogers’ lengthy, legendary career, from costumes from the Gambler TV show to his many awards, including the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.

โ€œKenny Rogers redefined and elevated country music superstardom in every sense,โ€ Museum Director Kyle Young said in a press release.ย โ€œHe blurred traditional genre lines and substantially expanded the core demographics of country musicโ€™s audience, all by being true to his unique artistic vision. His versatility is astounding. We could not be more thrilled to share this detailed presentation of his story.โ€

Other festivities include a Songwriter Session with Don Schlitz, who wrote “The Gambler.” Tomorrow’s event is free for museum members or with price of admission for non-members. The event will also be streamed live at countrymusichalloffame.org/streaming.
