On Saturday night (January 28), Atlanta rapper Lil Baby performed onstage for the variety show, Saturday Night Live.
The lyricist performed two of his hit songs, “California Breeze” and “Forever,” during the show, which was hosted by acclaimed actor Michael B. Jordan of Creed and Black Panther fame. (Fans can see his opening monologue, HERE.)

Backed by a full band for the first song, “California Breeze,” Lil Baby shined, offering falsetto raps with big style. For his second song, “Forever,” he was accompanied by pianist Chloe Flower for the intimate eye-catching performance.
Last year, Lil Baby released his latest LP, It’s Only Me, in October. Both songs he performed on SNL come from that record. Also last year, the Atlanta rapper released a new song called, “The World Is Yours to Take,” which sampled a Tears for Fears song and appeared on the official soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup video game.
Next week, SNL recently announced, acclaimed British-born rock band Coldplay is set to perform on the sketch show with actor Pedro Pascal as host.
