Indie-pop group Bad Suns break free from a toxic bond in their new single “The One I Used to Love.” Released on Thursday (September 7), the track is a polished, deceptively danceable track born from a transformative new chapter.
“Newly free from the shackles of a long, sordid entanglement with addiction, I surveyed the landscape of my life in that moment, and I let my pen get to work,” frontman Christo Bowman shares in a statement. “With this song, I bid farewell to a tragic romance with alcohol, and a new odyssey unfolds.”

“The One I Used to Love” is the band’s first single since the release of their 2022 record Apocalypse Whenever. Comprised of Bowman on lead vocals and guitar, Gavin Bennettย on bass, andย drummer Miles Morris, Bad Suns have won over listeners with their punchy brand of rock-infused pop.
Next week, the band will embark on an extensive tour with The Band CAMINO, which will stop in cities across the U.S. through the end of October. A complete list of upcoming concert dates is listed below. Fans can find additional information about the tour and ticketing options by visiting Bad Suns’ official website.
