Although the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus paved her own way in the music industry as she first appeared on the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana. Although gaining a fanbase around the show, Cyrus decided to branch out and follow in the footsteps of her father as she released 8 studio albums and even won two Grammy awards. Thanks to hit songs like “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball”, the star continues to expand her stardom. And recently, a new rumor started to circulate that Cyrus could be heading to the Super Bowl as the headliner for the famous halftime show.
With stars like Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, and Bruce Springsteen performing at the Super Bowl, the halftime show is a giant milestone for any singer who gets the opportunity. And given her success with Endless Summer Vacation, it seems that the NFL might be looking to Cyrus as the next star to take the field. But again, it is all just rumors for now. But that didn’t stop fans from discussing the possibility with many loving the idea of Cryus taking over the halftime show.

Of course, buzz of Cyrus taking the Super Bowl stage led to an outcry of excitement amongst fans. “When I say her performing the Super Bowl would change lives I really mean it. Hit after hit after hit and literally everybody knows Miley Cyrus. This would easily be the most watched Halftime Show in SB history,” one user on X wrote.
Miley Cyrus Discusses Pressures Of Touring
Outside of Super Bowl rumors, Cyrus discussed the pressure that comes with performing in front of a large audience. Just last year, the singer explained, “What people don’t really understand about touring is the show is only 90 minutes, but that’s your life. If you’re performing at a certain level of intensity and excellence, there should be an equal amount of recovery and rest.”
Noting how touring affects her mental health, Cyrus continued, “There’s a level of ego that has to play a part that I feel gets overused when I’m on tour. And once that switches on, it’s hard to turn it off. I think when you’re training your ego every single night to be active, that’s the hardest switch for me to turn off.”
While fame comes at a cost, Cyrus refused to complain about the fame that followed her over her career in Hollywood and music. She considered herself “grateful” for the opportunities given to her.
