Given the legacy he created in heavy metal, numerous articles, books, and movies have been made about Ozzy Osbourne. Looking over his career in the spotlight, the singer sold over 100 million albums, performed alongside Black Sabbath, and even helmed the reality show The Osbournes. While sharing his life with fans and the world, an upcoming documentary promised to give a new take on Osbourne as it followed the singerโs ongoing battle with Parkinsonโs Disease.ย
Produced by Paramount+ and directed by Tania Alexander, No Escape From Now followed Osbourne over the last six years. Sharing what the film centered around, No Escape From Now will do more than bring Osbourne face to face with his own mortality. “Addressing his health issues and impact of his Parkinson’s diagnosis, the film showcases the central role music continues to play in Ozzy’s life โ also proving his mischievous sense of humor remains resolutely intact despite it all.”

Ozzy Osbourne Credits Music For Saving Him
Releasing a statement about his health and the upcoming film, Osbourne admitted that music saved his life. โThe last six years have been full of some of the worst times I’ve been through. There’s been times when I thought my number was up. But making music and making two albums saved me. I’d have gone nuts without music.”
Not only praising music for saving his life, but Osbourne never forgot the fans who helped him along the way. โMy fans have supported me for so many years, and I really want to thank them and say a proper goodbye to them. That is what the Villa Park show is about.โย
Even Osbourneโs wife, Sharon Osbourne, gave the film her approval as it highlighted her husbandโs strength through โserious health issues.โ Trusting the production, she insisted, โIt’s about the reality of his life now. We have worked with a production team we trust and have allowed them the freedom to tell the story openly. We hope that story will inspire people that are facing similar issues to Ozzy.”
Knowing his time on the stage was coming to an end, Osbourne will perform under the spotlight one last time with Black Sabbath on July 5th in his hometown of Birmingham, England.
