Although the Super Bowl is still a few months away, NFL fans are getting excited not just for the big game, but Thanksgiving day. Besides a day featuring amazing food and family, Thanksgiving is also a time of football. With the NFL holding a tradition of playing football on Thanksgiving, the Detroit Lions looked to continue their legacy of competing on the holiday. But besides a schedule featuring the Lions and Cowboys, the Thanksgiving Day games will also feature performances by Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, and Lindsey Stirling.ย
Just last year, the NFL watched as the Thanksgiving Day games set a record with an average viewership of 34.1 million people.
