It’s *NSYNC‘s world, and we’re just living in it. After many of years of being on hiatus, the boy band made a smashing return last month at both the MTV VMAs and with a brand-new single. And the accolades keep coming.
Their first song together since 2002, “Better Place,” has helped the group return to the Billboard Hot 100 Chart (dated October 14). As reported by the outlet, the track released on September 29 from the Trolls Band Together soundtrack shot its way to No. 25 on the chart.

“Better Place” ties *NSYNC’s highest Hot 100 debut, per Billboard, when the band’s first single, “I Want You Back,” started at No. 25 on the March 7, 1998-dated chart.

Lance Bass walked the red carpet at night one of iHeartRadioโs Music Festival last month and gave Entertainment Tonight the scoop on how much it meant to reunite with his longtime bandmates.
โIt is beautiful, you know? To be this age and the fans are still this excited. It is a dream come true,โ Bass said. โI had no idea the fandom would go this nuts.โ
โI blame Taylor Swift. I think she she sicced the Swifties on us, and I think the Swifties and the *NSYNCers just kind of created this tsunami,โ he continued. โAnd I think itโs been so fun!โ
Bass confirmed to ET that even though there is high demand for a tour, there are unfortunately no plans at the moment for one: โIโve been telling the fans, like, we donโt have solid plans right now. Because, you know, weโre waiting for the strike to end weโve got things to do, but the fan are definitely shaping our future.โ
On going into the studio for the first time in years with his bandmates, Bass said, โIt was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together. Back in March, we decided to, you know, get back together and have some fun, and it was like no time had passed.โ
