James Taylor is set to make his Austin City Limits debut this weekend, and we’ve got an exclusive premiere of the broadcast performance of “You Can Close Your Eyes.”
Taylor invites Austin’s own Shawn Colvin out to to duet on the track, which is taken from 1971’s Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon. The episode is also set to feature performances of his greatest songs, such as “You’ve Got A Friend” and “Your Smiling Face,” in addition to new selections from his latest album Before This World.
