While spending a little over a decade in country music, Riley Green proved himself to be a hitmaker as he released top songs like “There Was This Girl”, “Half of Me”, and ‘I Wish Grandpas Never Died.” Quickly finding his place in country music, Green released two studio albums, with his last, Ain’t My Last Rodeo, hitting shelves back in October 2023. But outside his solo career, the singer joined forces with Ella Langley for the duet “You Look Like You Love Me.” And with the song becoming yet another hit for Green, it seems the duo dazzled on stage in front of 50,000 fans.
Although country music might not be a top genre in the UK, citizens rushed at the chance to see singers like Green and Morgan Wallen perform. Selling 50,000 tickets, the concert became the largest country concert in the UK. Not letting the massive crowd get to them, both Green and Langley took the stage with confidence, taking fans on a journey through a song about finding the love in each other and being honest.

Gaining thousands of views, fans expressed their love for the collaboration between Green and Langley, writing, “Riley Green is on top of country music. Can’t tell me otherwise.” And one person added, “You were both amazing. But omg the sheer amount of us honoured to be there is crazy.”

Riley Green Surprised About The Success Of “You Look Like You Love Me”
While loving the reception they received in the UK, Green once admitted to being surprised at how popular “You Look Like You Love Me” became. Having shared the stage several times, Green explained Langley going on tour with him. “She went out on tour with me this year. It was her and Tracy Lawrence and me. And, you know, when you’re out like that, that’s one of the most organic ways things can happen with songs and writing and everything else is just kind of being around somebody.”
Letting the process happen naturally, Green explained, “We ended up coming across that song, and a buddy of mine played it for me, and I ended up writing the second verse for it, and it’s really taken off. I don’t think anybody expected the song to be as big a hit as it is.”
With “You Look Like You Love Me” taking over the UK, it seems that Green’s surprise about the song’s success is just the beginning as it continues to be a hit song from both singers.
