Ronnie Dunn really didn’t want to forget the lyrics. On night two of Morgan Wallen’s tour stop in Miami, Florida, he tapped Gavin Adcock and Brooks & Dunn to open the show.
Later, when Wallen took the stage, he welcomed each of the opening acts to perform a song with him.

Adcock and Wallen sang “Up Down,” which the latter singer released in 2017, without incident. Meanwhile, Dunn and Kix Brooks performed Wallen’s 2018 hit, “Whiskey Glasses,” with him.
During Brooks & Dunn’s time on stage with Wallen, fans were shocked to see Dunn looking at a lyrics cheat sheet as he performed.
Neither Brooks nor Dunn sang much during the performance, instead walking around stage, video from the concert appeared to show.
Brooks & Dunn will presumably have several more chances to memorize the lyrics. The duo is set to open for Wallen during his upcoming tour stops in Arizona,Washington, California, and Canada.
Morgan Wallen’s Tour and Album
Wallen’s I’m the Problem Tour is in support of his recently released album of the same name. During an April appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Vaughn, Wallen discussed his want to try something new with Iโm the Problem.
โA lot of the things that were successful in the past were like whiskey drinking, all that stuff, and Iโve almost explored every angle of that thatโs possible. Last album, I had plenty of trap beats and stuff like that,โ he said. โThis time, I was like, โHey man, maybe letโs tone that down a little bit.โ
Wallen went on to note of his fans, โif Iโm tired of it, theyโre probably tired of it.โ
โYou can still get that swagger, you can accomplish certain things without that same thing,โ he said. โA lot of my guys that I write withโฆ we had a good sense of what we were shooting for. I had to work harder. Just finding new angles and thinking up new ideas.โ
Later, Wallen told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe how he got the idea for the title of the LP.
โI think there was a little bit of playing into just everything Iโve been through in my lifeโฆnot like Iโm the victim or anything, Iโve caused a lot of it,โ he said. โI think thatโs my wayโฆ of accepting that responsibility and saying, โHey, maybe I am the problem sometimes.โโ
