At the height of Drakeโs feud with Kendrick Lamar, the singer decided to release a diss track titled โTaylor Made Freestyle.โ Throughout the song, which hit airwaves in April, the lyrics included vocals from both Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur. Although Tupac passed away back in 1996, the song used AI to bring the rapperโs voice back to life. Shortly after the song was released, Snoop Dogg shared it on his Instagram Stories. But according to the rapper, he accidentally shared the post thinking it was something else entirely.ย
Appearing on the Bootleg Kev podcast, Snoop Dogg decided to clear the air about the beef between Lamar and Drake. When Lamar dropped his album GNX back in November, his song โWacced Out Muralsโ included the lyrics, โโTaylor Madeโ / I prayed it was the edibles / I couldnโt believe it, it was only right for me to let it go.โ

Not wanting to give excuses, Snoop Dogg offered his side of the situation, admitting, โHeโs a rapper, man. Heโs supposed to speak his mind and tell his truth. Thatโs the way he felt. You know what Iโm saying? He has the right to say that. Iโm his big homeboy, so I have to take whatโs given to me from his perspective because heโs speaking truth. And the truth shouldnโt hurt you. It should make you better.โ

Snoop Dogg Hoped To Make It Right With Kendrick Lamar
Snoop Dogg continued discussing the incident, claiming it all happened due to an accident. โWhat happened was, I did a collaborative post with someone [on Instagram]. So when I post it, Iโm thinking Iโm posting โGin and Juice.โ I donโt know what song this is. Iโm not hip to everybodyโs music. Then I get the word, โNephew didnโt like what you did.โโ The rapper wondered, โWhat did I do?โ
Learning that he posted Drakeโs diss track, Snoop Dogg moved to make it right by calling Lamar. Wanting to explain himself and how it happened, the rapper insisted, โI apologize. I was f***ed up, my bad.โโ
With Snoop Dogg trying to make it write, the rapper released his 20th studio album just a few days ago with Missionary. Working with Dr. Dre on the album, the tracklist featured appearances from stars like Eminem, 50 Cent, Tom Petty, and even Jelly Roll.ย
