Snoop Dogg Is Making How Much per Day at the Olympics? The Rumored Amount Is Staggering

Rumors are floating around about the amount of money Snoop Dogg is getting paid per day as a special correspondent to the Olympics, and the number is astounding. The rapper is allegedly receiving $500k per day as a correspondent for NBC and Peacock.

The rumor comes from a venture capitalist at Great Oaks, Henry McNamara, who posted on Twitter, “Sat next to an NBC exec at dinner, he said Snoop gets paid $500k a day plus expenses to be here promoting Olympics.”

Darren Rovell, a sports business reporter, replied to McNamara on social media. “Someone asked me how much Snoop was making,” he wrote. “First number that came to mind was $10 million.”

Fans of Snoop Dogg commented on the original post as well with words of support. “Worth every penny,” wrote one Twitter user. Another commented, “He’s worth 2X that amount.” Someone asked, “does expenses include weed budget?” while a few people trolled the original post by commenting, “Source: dude trust me.”

As base pay for corresponding over 16 days, that comes to a hefty $8 million. That doesn’t include pre- and post-production work or expenses. Overall, Snoop is looking at a pretty chunk of change by the end of the Games.

Snoop Dogg Joins Fellow The Voice Coaches for First-Ever Performance

This season’s The Voice coaches recently came together to perform for the first time as an unofficial supergroup, singing The Four Tops’ 1966 hit “Reach Out, I’ll Be There.” Snoop Dogg was the unlikely standout during that performance—fans know him as a stellar rapper for decades, but they apparently didn’t know he can also sing.

“Out of all the people you thought would become a superband, this wasn’t it,” said Michael Bublé in a behind the scenes clip from the performance. “If you were wondering, ‘Can Snoop Dogg sing?’ Yeah, he can sing,” he added.

The performance delighted fans and rang in this new era of The Voice. Reba McEntire returns, of course, but so does Gwen Stefani. For one season, at least. Michael Bublé and Snoop are both newcomers to the show, and it will most likely be fun watching them learn the ropes and pick their teams.
