Snoop Dogg was one of the few rappers to perform during the presidential inauguration celebration. In addition to Snoop, other rappers took part in the political festivities, including Nelly, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy. Even though Snoop was not the only rapper to participate in the celebration, that hasn’t stopped fans from zeroing in on the one-time The Voice coach.
Following his inauguration performance at the Crypto Ball, Snoop Dogg received praise from some, but hoards of scrutiny from several different communities is what has stolen headlines. Furthermore, Snoop was also heavily scrutinized given that he once criticized any rappers who endorsed President Trump. In light of all the events, Snoop Dogg appears to have finally responded.

Snoop Dogg Takes a Stand
Snoop Dogg took aim at his haters on Instagram on Sunday, January 26. In the post, Snoop sits in his car listening to gospel music and then addresses the elephant in the room by stating, “For all the hate, I’ma answer it with love. Y’all can’t hate enough for me, I love too much.” “Get your life right, stop worrying about mine. I’m cool, I’m together,” added Snoop.
Snoop continued his plea by saying, “Still a Black man, still one hundred percent Black. All out ’till you ball out or ’til you fall out.” Even though Snoop didn’t directly address the controversy at hand, it seems his remarks are in conjunction with the feedback from his inauguration performance.
Many celebrities and other popular figures have stood up for Snoop Dogg. Particularly, sports commentator, Stephen A. Smith said, “He’s got a youth football league. This brother’s sending cats to college, this brother’s sending cats to the NFL” and “We’re just going to ignore that ’cause he performed at the inauguration?”
Regarding Smith’s comments and Snoop’s philanthropic endeavors, the Grammy-winning artist recently teased a Los Angeles Wildfire relief concert alongside his long-time collaborator, Dr. Dre. Snoop announced the news during his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in which he said, “There was talks about concerts. To raise money for the victims and the people that have lost in this situation.”
Neither Snoop Dogg nor Dr. Dre has made any official comments about the concert’s development at this time.
