Drake’s time down under is coming to an early end. Amid his Anita Max Win Tour, Drake has postponed his remaining shows in Australia and New Zealand for yet-to-be-announced new dates.
“Due to a scheduling conflict, four of Drake’s 16 sold-out shows in Australia and New Zealand will be postponed,” the rapper’s rep told Rolling Stone Australia. “We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows.”

During the month of February, the “God’s Plan” rapper played shows all over Australia, in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. He was scheduled to return to Brisbane on March 4, before playing Sydney again on March 7. Afterwards, Drake was supposed to play back-to-back shows in Auckland, New Zealand, on March 15 and 16.
Meanwhile, sources close to the tour told TMZ that there’s another reason for the postponement. Per the outlet, the set for Drake’s concert is so big that it would have been too hard to get the equipment from one city to the next in the short amount of time between shows.
Drake’s rep told the first outlet that tickets will be valid for the new dates. Fans also have the option to get a refund.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience,” the rep said. “Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon. We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.”
This isn’t the first time the rapper has changed his tour dates. Back in January, Drake moved the Auckland shows from Feb. 28 and March 1 to mid-March. That change was also due to “scheduling conflicts.”
Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar
Drake’s tour comes amid his feud with Kendrick Lamar. The “Not Like Us” rapper, who recently won five GRAMMYs, performed his Drake diss track during the Super Bowl halftime show.
While Lamar is widely considered to be the winner of the feud, Drake is having his own success. He and PartyNextDoor released an album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, on Feb. 13. All of the songs from the album debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
