What’s more exhausting than always rooting for the “Anti-Hero?” Performing three-hour sets with multiple costume changes across 54 cities and five continents. That’s exactly what Taylor Swift has done since kicking off her monumental “Eras” Tour in March 2023. Now—7,000 songs and more than $2 billion in ticket sales later—the tour wraps up Saturday, Dec. 8. in Vancouver, British Columbia. Naturally, Swifties are dying to know what’s next for the “Fortnight” star after concluding the most successful tour of all time. The answer, it seems, is a whole lot of nothing.
Taylor Swift Is Looking Forward to Some Down Time
To prepare for the “Eras” Tour, Taylor Swift ran on the treadmill every day while singing the entire setlist aloud. And personally, I’m tired from just writing that sentence. So it’s not surprising that the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” hitmaker is taking a well-earned hiatus.

According to another source, a new album is in the works for Swift post-“Eras.” The 14-time Grammy Award winner evens plans to hit the road again, although likely not until 2026. While Swift is eager to repeat the communal experience of the “Eras” Tour, she has “told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life,” the source said.
But Really, When Are We Getting ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version?)’
In 2019, Taylor Swift announced plans to re-record her first six albums after following a dispute with former record label Big Machine Records. Five years later, only two (Taylor’s Versions) remain: her eponymous 2006 debut and 2017’s Reputation.
Fans have been clamoring for the slightest hint of a release date for Reputation (Taylor’s Version). Every red-carpet getup is subject to intense scrutiny. And a recent theory suggests that Swift hinted at the album’s upcoming release during her Nov. 23 “Eras” stop in Toronto. The “Bad Blood” singer performed a mashup of The Tortured Poets Department’s “Cassandra,” folklore’s “Mad Woman” and “I Did Something Bad” off Reputation.
All we can do is wait and see.
