Third Man Records just announced that the Nashville-based label would release famed Italian composer Ennio Morricone’s score for the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film, The Hateful Eight.
The soundtrack is already releasing December 18 via Decca Records, but Third Man is giving the score the deluxe treatment, putting together a vinyl package that includes a reversible jacket, 60″x12″ poster, and a collection of film stills.
The Hateful Eight is a Western set in post-Civil War Wyoming and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and many others. Ennio Morricone is long known for his work for films like The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly and Once Upon a Time in America.
