Dylan LeBlanc returned home to Alabama on Jan. 24 to perform at Callaghanโ€™s Social Club in Mobile. The performance by LeBlanc was the latest in a longstanding concert series presented by American Songwriter, in which fans can see bare-bones performances from top singer-songwriters in an intimate environment. Other notable alumni of the series at Callaghan’s include Alabama Shakes, Justin Townes Earle and Rayland Baxter.

LeBlancโ€™s show on Sunday night was an opportunity for the 25-year-old to showcase new songs from his third album, Cautionary Tale. The record was released on Jan. 15 and has received considerable praise. Of Cautionary Tale and its single โ€œEasy Way Out,โ€ AS writes:ย โ€œCautionary Tale is an album of reckoning with youthful mistakes set to familiar sounds from the country-soul crooner. โ€˜Easy Way Outโ€™ rides a Neil Young โ€˜Southern Manโ€™ chord progression as it playfully bounces around cliches of retrospective regret.โ€
