Lainey Wilson recently dealt with an internet troll who said she should stick to dancing instead of singing, and she did it by busting a move. In an Instagram post, Wilson replied to a user named Johnny who commented, “Dances better than she sings. Maybe stick with that instead,โ on a previous video. Wilson’s response was classing.
She read the comments aloud, then thanked the user for his input. โThank you, brother, thank you Johnny,โ she said, before showing off the dance moves she’s been working on. They involved a lot of jerky movements and a sort of half-worm.

โYou like that?โ Wilson asked during her dance, before adding, “God bless you,” as a sign off. In the comments, the country girlies came out in full force to support Lainey Wilson in her creative clapback.
โHahahahahahhaaha immediately yes,” wrote Megan Moroney, whose new merch Wilson was sporting. โIโve been working on this hahaha,” Ella Langley wrote, while Ashley McBryde added a supportive, โGit em sister!!!โ Carly Pearce simply replied with a line of laughing emojis.

Lainey Wilson Claps Back at Trolls While Preparing For New Album Release
Lainey Wilson’s new album, Whirlwind, drops on Friday, August 23. While she’s been preparing for that, she’s also been on her Country’s Cool Again Tour, and even performed during the Disney Legend ceremony while Miley Cyrus was being honored.
As for the album, she spoke about the anticipation with Newsweek recently. While sharing that she’s ready for the album to come out, but is still feeling nervous, she had a great analogy that explained those feelings. ย
โSomebody actually explained it to me the other day, they said an album is like your four-year-old kid who is about to go to preschool,โ she said. โThereโs a time where youโre like, โMan, I canโt wait for them to go to school.โ And the closer it gets to actually sending them off to school, you start getting a little anxious. Thatโs kind of where Iโm at right now.”
