As part of American Songwriterโ€™s “Discover” concert series, in partnership with ReverbNation CONNECT, ย Philadelphia native Ron Gallo performed at the Family Wash on May 2, sharing the billย with singer-songwriterย Lilly Hiatt and blues punkย band Thelma and the Sleaze.

With punk-rock influences and a highly confrontational performance style, Galloโ€™s performance stayed true to the aggressive yet lively tone of his mission statement: โ€œRock and roll isnโ€™t dead. You are.โ€ The garage rockerโ€™s performance was the third in the โ€œDiscover Series,โ€ which aims to showcase emerging new artists in the area.
