On Monday, Will Overton was named A&R Manager for Warner/Chappell Nashville, a division of Warner/Chappell Music (WCM). WCM is the publishing branch of Warner Music Group, and Overton’s new position places him in charge of artist development for the Nashville office.
Prior to his position at Warner/Chappell Nashville, Overton worked at Nashville music publisher DropTine Music.
“In this role, Overton will work with new and established songwriting talent,” WCM wrote in a press release announcing the appointment.
WCM currently represents a variety of popular artists through its global offices. Nashville-based artists represented by the company include Chris Stapleton, Dan + Shay and Kacey Musgraves, among others.
