The 23-year-old Wyatt Flores is not quite an international country music sensation, but he is surely on his way. Since starting his public country music career with his debut 2024 album, Welcome to the Plains, the Oklahoma native has garnered loads of attention within the world of country music, and specifically in Nashville. That being so, Flores will start his first-ever headlining tour on February 28.
Before Flores goes off on his own and starts to solidify his career as a bonified commercial country musician, he once again proves that he is a musician of the people and for the people. He did this by performing a surprise parking lot encore after his free show in Nashville on February 20.

Wyatt Flores Plays in Below Freezing Temperatures
Given that it’s Winter and that there is a cold front sweeping across the United States, nobody would ever think that a musician would put on a show outside. Well, for Wyatt Flores the below-freezing temperatures did not matter. Following his free show, Flores and some friends put on a pop-up encore in an arbitrary parking lot on the back of a pick-up truck.
It is unclear which parking lot of what venue it was, but regardless, Flores gave the lucky few in attendance something they didn’t ask for or expected. In a video posted on TikTok, Flores stands on the back of a pick-up truck in a sea of people and performs a solo acoustic cover of Tyler Childers’ single, “Shake the Frost.” The user who posted the clip wrote, “A man of the people” and “It’s below freezing in Nashville, but Wyatt Flores still does a parking lot encore after his free show.”
Come February 28, Flores will move on to much larger and more official stages, as he will kick off his tour at the Extra Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. Subsequently, Wyatt Flores will trek across the country and Canada for several months until he wraps up his Welcome Back to the Plains tour on August 15 in Montreal, Canada. Though, for his fans, his parking lot show will surely be hard to beat.
