Rock music is set to have a banner year. Fans of the genre have much to look forward to, between reunions, awards, and can’t-miss shows. Find four things we think are particularly exciting this year, below.
4 Things Rock Fans Can Look Forward to in 2025
1. The Grammys (February 2)
The Grammys are often centered around whatever genre of music happens to be most popular at the time. For the last decade or so, that has been pop music, in its various forms. Nevertheless, rock music isn’t completely shut out of the conversation. Many of your favorite rock outfits will battle it out in categories like Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Album, and more. Moreover, there is rock representation in other categories not specific to the genre. For example, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor is nominated in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category for his work on Challengers. Needless to say, there will be much for rock fans to take in on February 2.

2. Becoming Led Zeppelin (February 7)
If you’re a classic rock fan and a film buff, you might be waiting on the edge of your seat for the documentary, Becoming Led Zeppelin. Approved by the band itself, this project promises to be an in-depth–and never-before-seen–look at the rock icons’ rise to the top of the heap. We’re sure Zeppelin fans will get their fill of their iconic songs, with a few surprises throughout.

3. Rock in Vegas
There are many places to see a rock show, but you’ll find few as splashy and long-awaited as the ones happening in Vegas this year. Tears for Fears, Cheap Trick, Eagles, The Killers, Chicago, Heart, and more are all set to play shows in The Entertainment Capital of the World. Though these shows might not make sense for every rock fan to attend, those willing to shell out the cash might have the experience of a lifetime.

4. Oasis Reunion Tour (July 4)
Of course, the tour on everyone’s mind is Oasis’ reunion trek. The brother-led band has experienced more than its fair share of ups and downs. The Gallaghers promise that they are on an upswing at the moment, exciting fans with a chance to see their favorite band back together again. The tour is set to kick off in July with many dates throughout the rest of the year.
