Often called the Prince of Pop, Justin Timberlake found success with the boy band *NSYNC. But even past the life of the band, the singer produced an ongoing solo career that helped him sell over 117 million albums. And outside of the music industry, Timberlake appeared in films like Bad Teacher and The Social Network. Although continuing to release new music and tour, the star recently announced he needed to cancel a performance due to a back injury.
Fans in Oklahoma City prepared to watch Timberlake perform on December 2nd. And with tickets already purchased, the hitmaker broke the news he wasn’t going to be able to perform. Sharing the news on Instagram, he wrote, “I’m so sorry Oklahoma City. I have to cancel the show on 12/2/ I hurt my back in Nola and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer.” Timberlake added, “Thank you for your support – Y’all know I hate doing this.”

On the verge of turning 44 years old next month, Timberlake might have a problem understanding his age. And his friend, Jimmy Fallon, continuously tried to get him to understand he wasn’t in his 20s.

Jimmy Fallon Tries To Get Justin Timberlake To Take It Easy
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host told Timberlake, “Every time we talk about you going on tour, I give you advice. I go, ‘Hey, here’s the deal. Just sit on a stool and sing. You don’t have to do anything.’” He continued, “You don’t even ask. I just give you advice. I go, ‘Dude, don’t do anything. Come out, sit in the stool, do like 45 minutes and go home. What’s the big deal?’”
With Fallon giving Timberlake great advice, the host revealed, “And then I go to see you, and the show’s like two hours or something crazier. I have not seen the tour, so no spoilers… but I have seen this.” The host showed fans a picture of him suspending in the air using a platform made of mirrors.
While not listening to Fallon, a Timberlake concert might be a little crazier than most initially thought.
